Pat timing E who always seems to run late...

OKay, E-came home late last night. She had some splish splash & dash race after work so our evening easy bike was put on hold until this morning. After being "hot and bothered" all last night recovering from some "hot" race, (I think she was dehydrated when she got home) E was ready for E-asy bike ride before work. She was up way before me and I found her on the trainer as I was heading out the door with my bike.
She took me on a scenic route around the area. This place is really cool but gets hot quickly. Heat is different than our Kona heat. My lips are really chapped too! We laughed about all our Blog World friends and I told her some more funny stories about Bree! Our ride was uneventful as E had her mind on work today and I had my mind on a job interview I just landed back in Hawaii. I received a phone call yesterday that they would like to meet with me on Saturday morning. (who interviews on Sat AM anyway?) I told them I'm outta town and that I will change my flight to come home a few days early. Note to self, never change an airline ticket again, they charge you out the butt $$$$. I'm excited for the interview and need the job so it's a no brainer to come home early. I just hope I don't miss the start of Ironman Japan!
Our ride ends and E is off like a crazy woman. I don't know how she does it. Full-time hectic job and training for all these races. Not sure where she finds all the time! Bree on the other hand is easy to hang with and isn't running around like a mad woman all the time.(well let me rethink that one) Plus, Bree's never late for anything. E and Reid are very nice people and opened their doors to a total stranger and I thank them for their Ho'okipa (hospitality). Whenever you guys come to Kona just let me know, I'll take care of you. Hope we are able to spend more time together. Stay in touch and thanks again. Oh and E- I didn't eat all your New York Super Fudge Chunk Ice Cream, I left some for you!! Sorry, but it was really good!
Okay, gotta pack up my bike again and head to airport. Thanks for everyone' s comments, I appreciate the fact everyone really believes in me! Nice!
Oh, and Bree.......go gett'em sister....Sunday is your day......make it happen.......remember what you said in your email to me....(your secret).....so do it! Put the hammer down girl and rocket to the finish line!! :)

What the snowballs is going on here?! You are about as close to being in California as you are to Iowa. Creative picture but I like Mel's idea using Reid's body. Can you work on that one for us?

Yes, PAT AKA Dolphin Boy is a very confused individual...He does not know where the heck he is...I think he forgot to take his MEDS...He lives a very confused life and that makes US all crazy trying to figure his confusing ways out :)

I liked E's bicycle. What make is it? I could not read the writing on the frame. Anyway, after reading all your posts, I wish I had someone to hang out with here. Plenty of nice places to train, but no one to train with.

I see the "official" Ironman article noted that "Bree held the flag for the US". So she is better known here than in St. Croix. Sounds like an interesting course. I am thinking about doing it, although I'll have to work hard to make it before the 15-hour cut off. I'm not sure about the race coverage. Are you going to web-cam it? Maybe Bree should have a little web-cam attached to her bike like they have in Formula 1 racing.
Pat what time do I need to pick you up tomorrow?? I may be late as I am coming from teaching, but we can go straight to watching the race after I get you.. e-mail me the details.....
