Hawaii Kai and Portlock area + Hanama Bay
Well, after hectic flights from Kona to Honolulu and finally into CA, I've made it to Swanson's place. I got sick on the plane from Kona to HNL. We were up in the air for hours and couldn't land!! Kids all around my seat pooing themselves and crying. Then my flight from HNL to CA was nasty too. I ate some bad seaweed and rotten meat. Stomach is roaring! Finally to Swanson's house last night i was exhausted and just wanted to lay down and sleep. She sets me up on the floor with thin futon mattress and beach towel for pillow!After a rough nights sleep I'm up at the "butt crack of stupid"!! Put my "weapon of mass destruction" WMD (aka bike) together and rode around the neighborhood. I got "buzzed" by a cocky young lady on some hot pink scooter, damn near hit me!! Saw some strange sites too. Little girl that looked like a geisha trying to buy a can of beer from a sidewalk vending machine! Weird! I went to local store to buy some Gatorade but they wouldn't take my ATM card. Strange. Outside the store sitting on the curb was a little girl wearing Magnum PI sunglasses explaining to her mom how she was the fastest runner in the whole wide world. Meanwhile, mom was slumped over the sidewalk exhausted from walking and wearing strangest leopard print suit!!Where am I?.....have I landed in somebody's dream?......what the.....?....Anywhooooo...
Little hilly around this area
E- is at work right now and I'm on my own for a little while. She said she has a 5k lunch run/race followed by some "Splish"/Splash & Dash after work. Right! I think she is trying to blow me off. Hopefully she will be up for a easy ride after work too! Right now I have plans to "tune her bike" while she's at work!! haha! I have some special tools which I also used on Bree's bike! Also brought along the all essential "behavioral modification tool"! bust this out if she starts to "lip off" like Bree did in the parking lot after butterfly defeat!!
Okay, more post later on today after our "bike ride".

Yup, still at work. Just got done with the 5K. YAY, I won it for the women. See you after Splash n Dash. How's my bike?

Mel, why would I trick you guys? I'm in CA. Actually waiting for E to get back from her Splash & Dash race. Which she won! along with her lunch run!
We never went for eveing ride got too dark. Heading out tomorrow before she works. I promise I will post picture of us together.

Hey Crazy Mel....I travelled with my laptop and the time doesn't change....it still thinks it's in Hawaii.....nice tri!

My computer still seems to be on Hawaii time, but I am certainly not there now. 17 hours to the race? Bree might arrive a day early for it.
