Just a heads up....Kona Kamp is full. I can not believe it but all females signed up for the event. This is great news! So Kamp will be offered two weeks and repeat one week prior to Hawaii Ironman 140.6. (better ask Bree if this is the right mileage)
Anyway, will try and post over the weekend. Heading to Private family getaway in the PA mountains. Been in the family since 1946 and have many fond memories of travelling to it and meeting my cousins from all over. Maine, Boston, Philly, Annapolis, North Carolina, Kansas, Michigan, Colorado, New York, Ohio. Good times with family!

The Ironman course distance depends on whether you stay on the course or not. The half for Bree covers a distance of 72.3. At least you get to see a few wild geese running in front of you, besides a motorcycle exhaust pipe.

You don't know me but I found your link from Bree's blog. I just wanted to share with you a story thanks to your blog! As I wrote in Bree's comment section today I have been dreaming of living and training in Hawaii for some time. I kept asking the Universe to help me find a way and one day I asked the Universe for a sign. I decided that I wanted to see a Hawaii license plate at some random moment. (Don't ask me why, I just decided on that) So when I checked out your blog and browsed over your entries, I got shivers and was in shock when I saw the picture of your Hawaii license plate!! And now a short time after seeing it the opportunity of becoming an "au pair" in Hawaii has presented itself to me. I'm super excited!!
