Today I went for a one hour run followed by a cool down in the ocean. It was a great day at the beach and the ocean was ideal for swimming. It was so smooth, like a pond! and warm!! After my 20-minute swim in A-Bay I walk down the beach to shower off and notice they just posted this sign on the beach. Perfect timing? Nice! Apparently, someone saw a "shark" in A-Bay. I didn't see a damn thing but the sign wasn't up prior to me swimming.
Every time I enter the ocean, beach goers mistaken me for a shark!! (LOL) But don't they know I'm Dolphin Boy? No signs posted for Dolphin sightings ever!!
I'm the land shark!
After my swim I plan to relax all day at the beach. I open up my umbrella and chair. Prepare my surroundings for a day at the beach with nothing but day dreaming on the agenda! I put on some tunes. (Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett of course) Check my personal bubble surroundings for any smokers on the beach. All is clear. Clean fresh ocean salt spray, palm trees swaying, sand between my toes, eyelids getting heavy, melting into beach chair, falling into dream state. Vivid dreams ensue. The following images loosely capture what swam across my mind in my dream state.
I miss playing with my underwater friends.....
Recent Ironman races and friends competing....cross my mind, wondering if I should race again in Hawaii or elsewhere! Should I tri again?
My favorite boat and plane. Grumman Albatross HU 16. When am I going to get my pilots license so I can fly away and land anywhere in the world?
My Tahitian hale "bachelor pad" in Moorea. Wondering when I will return to my favorite place and who will come with me?
What's a day dream at the beach if you don't have your own sailboat just to sail away whenever you want! Enough said!

Sharks don't go for Dolphin Boy meat. NO worries. 2009 should be a D.B. Tri comeback for sure!!!

That Dolphin I'm holding is young boy and weighs around 200lbs. The picture was taken as I lifted him up and was falling backwards as I rolled him over my head back into the water! I wasn't standing there holding him still, I was moving fast to get rid of him! Heavy guy!!
How cool DB....I for on sec felt like I was there with you:) I would be in dream land too if I had that surrounding:) Sounds like you have a lot of options and decisions to make!!!! Don't let it slip away!!!!
Gee's, I guess I would pay $4+/gallon for gas to have that paradise. How's the job situation? I don't think I've read any updates since the initial post. Any LOST possibilities?
Any recent auditions for the new heartthrob role in LOST? Nice to have a nice dream. Most of mine seem to end up as nightmares (especially when watching recent Ironman races at night while semi-conscious due to the time difference). When will you be holding the training session on swim etiquette so I can learn the right way to swim in a group?

i love the moorea pics. one of my BFFs just went back there(yesterday) to spend the whole year working there. she usually only spends a couple months a year there doing research. she loves it there and insists that i come and visit cause it is so great there. she says that she especially loves the people there! i'm just trying to figure out when i can squeeze that trip in?!?!?!
