Well, I got lucky a few months ago when Wheel of Fortune called me to help out. I assisted with their on island production at Hilton Waikoloa about 9 years ago and they have returned this week for more filming at the Hilton again! So, I'm lined up to start work on Thurs or Friday this week as P/A and audience escort. They will be filming about 4 weeks of shows during their stay which should take about 5 days, weather permitting. The stage is all set and looks sweet! All will be shot at sunset hours and into evening. I work from 1pm till about 12 midnight each night!
9 years ago I was lucky enough to have Vanna in the water with the dolphins. She is so nice and down to earth. She was kind enough to stop back to see the dolphins and to sign our photo of us with the dolphins. Not sure if she will remember me!!! I'm sure she will remember the dolphins!!

This leads me to my ultimate goal for the year. Getting back on the set of LOST! Well, wouldn't you know it, casting director calls me during my NFL football watching Sunday morning breakfast and asks if I'm available next week for about a weeks worth of filming on Oahu. Ahhhh, hell yeah I'm available!!! Now, I'm really excited and stoked!!! Finally, things are happening!! She asked me some questions etc....we chat about the scenes etc....needless to say I'm totally stoked. Did I say that yet? BUT....I'm sorry my friends, I can NOT talk about the scenes or my role etc...thanks for understanding. I will learn even more this coming week. Only bummer is that the LOST filming conflicts with my Wheel of Fortune last day of filming. This may pose a problem with my Wheel but I would rather get LOST!!! LOL!!
LOST season five started filming middle of August. Look for the first episode to air in Jan 2009 sometime. Then they only have one more season left. Season Six will air Jan 2010.
Next on my agenda is to land a role in Magnum PI the movie, to start filming in Hawaii, starring Matthew McConaughey.Anyone wanna spin my Wheel or get LOST with me? hahahha!!

Congratulations! I am SO happy for you! More so about the Lost call, but WOF is cool too! I won't ask any questions about the Lost episodes, and I am SURE you will let us all know which episodes you will be on. Is January ever going to get here? I can't accept their last season is soon approaching, not yet.
I am happy for you, too. Maybe before you know it, you will be getting a call from the director of Baywatch! Anyway, little by little, step by step. I hope this all leads to your landing some interesting work on a regular basis. You can introduce some of those girls to triathlon, which will certainly turn a few heads, when they show up for the Peaman race.

I love Lost-I picked up the first season box set to get me through my first Ironman training (that's what we do in the Midwest when we sign up for an April Ironman). Now I'm hooked.

WOW, cool! I hear you are going to watch rr and wee on Saturday. That will be quite the funny show, whack wee on the bootie for me.....oh wait no dont do that she might slap you back. HAHAHAHAHA!!
