It's not too often that a very rewarding feeling comes over me. It used to happen more frequently years ago. Today brought back those feelings!
I believe I was able to make a life-long dream come true for a friend. (perhaps?)
The feeling is so good and makes me happy to know that I was able to contribute to such a huge smile on my friends face. In years past I had the pleasure of meeting many children from all over the world and working with them was such a treat and highly rewarding. It made my year today as I watched my friend enjoying her time with some very special underwater friends!
Today I witnessed a young woman melt into a "little school girl" as if "in love" for the first time!! Her heart rate must have been zooming off the charts all morning. Her daily worries washed away, for she was in "suspended animation" for one brief moment. Her watery eyes flooded towards her friends as they met. Both holding their breath as they floated closer. Rays of sun cracked through the tranquil scene like a crystal chandelier under a blue light. Their watery eyes where in a deep conversation of sorts. Clicks & whistles are barely audible as they gracefully glide by in each others slip-stream in an effortless motion slowly disappearing into the deep blue.
Magical to say the least. I was able to record her brief moment for I hope it will last forever!
Rewarding for me, plain and simple. Try it someday, pay it forward, it's a good feeling. Stranger or Friend it doesn't matter, it's the same feeling.
Sometimes it is the little things that make the big difference.

seriously, I was falling in love with LONO, I could take that animal home and put him in my bath tub if DG would let me!
Thank you more than you know!

Wow...so your the one responsible for her worry free smile...wonderful of you to be so generous. A true friend indeed.
Cheers,
Tracy
I have on several occasions been close to dolphins in Kona and even had one jump almost over me, but I have never interacted with one like one would with one' pet cat, so that is something I have yet to experience. I am not sure I would want to keep a dolphin in the bath, though.
Why don't you start a "rent a dolphin as a swimming buddy service", so that people can swim out in the ocean and be protected from the big black monsters lurking in the murky waters underneath? A bit better than just having Scooby Doo with you.
DB you are ALL heart...and a wonderful friend to have...she will ALWAYS treasure your friendship!!! To make someone SMILE is the best gift you could ever give someone:) Keep being the awesome YOU!!!! OK I am being toooo nice to you so go and jump back into the ocean where you belong!!!!
